An Open Letter to Bestino

Dear Bestino Management,

Information from Bestino has not been forthcoming and a lot of conspiracy theories are floating around. I ask that you call for an investor meeting in which you explain what has been going on and what are your efforts to repay the investors. A two way dialog is much needed to dispel the rumors and regain your credibility.

Rumour has it that the sale of your goldmine has fallen through. For myself, I have the following questions:

1) In your letter dated 3rd Feb, you said that '...we have decided on an alternate plan to reactivate the mines in PNG and hope to extract reasonable quantities of gold daily, sell and start paying the investors in stages....'.. Can I ask what is the status of this contingency plan.

2) My agent told me that Bestino has a lot of assets in gold bars and should anything happen to Bestino, it will sell the gold bars to pay the investors. Can I know what plan has been put in place to sell these gold bars and when will the money from the sale be given to us.

3) You have been paying us 3% interest monthly. As this has stopped from June last year, you have accumulated 33% in unpaid interest. This can be used to pay our capital. We will be happy to accept this 33% first while you raise the rest of the money.

4) According to my agent, one drop of your essential oil is worth USD17. You now have 3 factories and as such must be making a lot of profit from the essential oil. You have an obligation to pay us back. I believe some of this profit should be channeled to paying us back.

  7. Wow! I'm wondering if any of you guys are formally from lecruz or have been cheated by Lecruz casino Junket? or Are you aware of Lecruz scam that involved more than RM800 Mil. which ceased operation in October 2009. Many of us have made reports to the authorities and we also have put up the links over our site. Please visit : http://lecruzactionteam.blogspot.com

  8. So far no news yet. We are still waiting. Looks like the chances of getting back the money is lesser day by day.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Just wonder if any of the investors made any police report. If yes,pls explain what is the progress.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Dear Lecruz Scam ?,

Thanks for your support. Some investors noted in the previous blog (Fortune Sense) that they had invested in both Bestino and Lecruz.

Police report? Yeah, we are working towards that. But first we need to get all the investors together again now that the Fortune Sense blog has closed down. Not many investors know of this new blog.

We will certainly be following the actions that you guys are taking and will be learning from that.

  11. I think 'member get member' technic could bring in as many investors together.Example i can get 5 investors in,and that investor bring another 5 investor each and it goes on and on.If you contact your agent i'm sure you can gather many investor. Our dateline is 15/5/10.If no good news i think we should proceed we our agenda. Please start work on it,i'm pessimistic about getting back our money.

  12. Sounds good. I will inform all the people I know. But my agent was KS Lee who is MIA.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I am also one of the victim but would like to give my sympathy to those who are most affected and needy. Please be optimistic and reduce your worry by choosing to believe them. Recently I heard Krishnan is handling 2nd potential buyer and got sick already, must be too much pressure and calls to answer.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Now looks like they are trying for another new buyer. So the crap story starts all over again. Sit back and enjoy the drama again.

  15. Bestino has got lots of assets. It's just that they are taking us for a long/royal ride. Contact BN/SC if you live in KL, personally go over there, they got a toll free number as well (check out the net,_ and find out the actual situation. Too bad BN/SC don't have an office in Ipoh, if they had I would have been there a long time back.

They are getting too greedy and and they know we cannot do a darn thing about it. All these meetings have amounted to nothing.

But some of here have put their faith in K, seems he is sick now. He was aware of the previous blogspot, never cared to comment until someone took a personal swipe at him. Then he revealed himself as a director of Bestino, but all these while he never cared to comment on the actual state of affairs in his company of which is he the direcor.

I dont want to lay down more shit here, unless someone thinks its a personal reference to their irresponsibilites and shoddy dealings.

    ReplyDelete
  16. i will take initiative with some my friends over here....we will get the money.....

    ReplyDelete
  17. I did go to Bank Negara. I posted the results of the meeting on the previous blog. In summary:
    - BN confirmed that Bestino has a goldmine in PNG and that they are trying to sell it.
    - However, BN got confirmation from PNG authorities that the goldmine is very small and is not worth RM400million
    - BN had completed their investigation into Bestino and submitted their report to the prosecutor. It is now up to the prosecutor on whether on not to bring Bestino to court.
    - If Bestino pays us back before the court case, this will be viewed in their favor and they may be more lightly by the courts.

Seek to know if this 2nd buyer refers to the pending signing of S&P or is it atotal new ball game all over again?
It's very disturbing to keep hearing different stories each time we are near any of the given date lines. Could anyone confirm which is which. Tq

  19. Dear Beastie, thank you for this Blog. However, I do hope that investors would not vent their anger by using foul language and cursing. I also hope that the Management of Bestino would reply to your open letter to them dated 4th May 2010 @ 3.30pm. I do like the way you write, informative, precise and mature. Do keep us informed of all latest developments. Thank you.

  21. Dear investors,
So many among us or among the investors they really don noe the situation at Bestino... Selling a asset is not a small or a very easy deal!.... Mr.Krishnan is workin hard on it... Please be calm & sure we'll receive a good news from them... Trust In God!

  22. 20 out of > 6000 investor?Where the others? We need strong crowd to pull this thing out.Anyway thank you very much to person who created this blog, this is important because we need a channel to share info.If we serious about getting our money, first thing we should put our name rather than Anonymous.I will put my name if someone put their name first then follow by contact no. etc then we have a meeting.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Dear Anonymous May 10, 2010 4:30 PM,

I fully appreciate what you are saying. Agreed that there are a lot of steps in selling a goldmine. Isn't that all the more reason for Bestino to have a dialog with us and tell us what is going on?

We are investors. We have pumped millions of ringgit into Bestino's businesses (goldmine, gold refinery and essential oils). Don't you think that the least Bestino can do is to call for a meeting and tell us what is going on?

To-date, all Bestino has done is to send out 3 letters that say nothing. The last letter was a full 3 months ago.

Can you really blame the investors for getting angry, jumping to conclusions and coming out with conspiracy theories? Any social scientist will tell you that this will happen if information is not forthcoming.

It should not be us who should be badgering Bestino and asking for meetings. The initiative should be taken by Bestino.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Dear Anonymous May 10, 2010 4:55 PM,

Yes, there are over 6,000 investors. But you have to remember that the majority of them are poor and uneducated. Most don't have a computer let alone access to the internet. I believe that they also think it is Bank Negara at fault and not Bestino! We need to educate this group of people. I just do not know how.

    ReplyDelete
  25. The only way out dear fellow investor: is to give out your handphone numbers in this blog, before it gets blasted away again. If anybody gives u a call, say its related to Bestino. Then ask the caller how much he has invested, if not he wont be calling you in the first place. then ....

    do what is necessary...

    ReplyDelete
  26. It’s not advisable to reveal our personal particulars such as name or contact numbers online. This blog can be accessed by anyone and providing personal particulars online can expose to all sorts of unwanted things.
The best way is for everyone to send a private email containing our personal details(Name & contact number) to the blogs administrator who can compile it into a database. In future if we need to organize any gatherings we can use this database to contact all the investors.

    ReplyDelete
  27. That's a right move my friend. Let's submit our particulars to only this blog administrator and let it be our '1 stop center'.
It's my belief that the recovery of our investments is not going to be so soon at the rate things are going.
Do not be surprised to be told next week that the signing of this pending S&P has been further delayed as the would be buyer needs further consulation & documents.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I agree that leaving personal particulars on this blog may not be a very good idea.

To safeguard in the event that this blog gets 'blasted away', I have created a Facebook page. Currently, I am not posting anything to the Facebook page. It will only be used in the event that anything happens to this blog.

So please do bookmark the page. The link is below. It is also on the 'Links' tab to the right of this blog.

  30. To the Management of Bestino : (if I may so, please)

    You know about this blog.
You know about the people’s pain.
You were aware of “Fortune Sense”.

But where are your replies to the many questions asked by the people?

    Silence is not always golden.

Mr. Chong, you are a people person. You are known for your generous donations, contributions and free food. You have a big heart. I will not believe it if they say that you are all set to cheat. No, sir. There got to be some explanation.

Staff at Ipoh Bestino are always polite and so assuring but unfortunately keep changing dates and tales as to when potential buyers are going to sign the sale and purchase agreement to buy your gold mine. One month leads to another. Mr. Lee is out of sight and nowhere to be heard. Nevertheless, hope that he is in good health.

But people are getting suspicious, frustrated and angry. And why shouldn’t they be.

When Bestino needed money, they sent all the agents they could get to look for investors. It was the people's hard earned cash. Some saved over the years and some borrowed. Most of these investors are not rich and did not invest any loose change that they can afford to lose. They simply had trust in Bestino.

I now humbly request you to answer all queries to our Beastie’s open letter dated Tuesday, 4th May 2010 and I would also suggest that your good office send newsletters to all investors as to what your intentions are as not many people have excess or are computer literate. And as suggested, kindly set a date for an open honest dialogue with the people.

May the good Lord bless all.

    Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Called Bestino just now and they said the date of signing the agreement is not confirmed, but the buyer has confirmed to buy the mine.

    Looks like another long wait.

    ReplyDelete
  32. can some please do something ...please take the lead...i am really angry with this Bestino...

    ReplyDelete
  33. If Bestino was really interested to help people they would have at least paid us back 10~20% of the capital by now. But the way things are going on it seems that Bestino is all out to screw everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hello fellow investors,

The latest I heard was that YM was in Lord Muruga temple in Gunong Cheroh, Ipoh, and that he reassured another fellow investor that by the end of this month, we may get something.

    ReplyDelete
  35. 15th May to end of the month. Then it will be 15th June and then end of June. Then 15th July and end of July and so it goes on.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Haiyo!!!!!I'm tired of the dateline given by bestino lar!!!Pls la, lets get our act together and send the culprit(s) behind bar if nothing happens 15 may.I hope someone take a lead and gather all the investors.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Very disappointed with this latest turn of events.Bestino is unable to secure a sale yet refuse to resume mining operations and leaving all it's investors in the dark all along with false promises.
Come on YM Chong and your so called directors who are no better then donkey can you be transparent and speak the truth for once as to what's going on. Are you so dumb as to be unable to realise our sufferings and hardship.
What's the use of claiming that YM Chong/Bestino has been very charitable but all along while you have been taking us for a royal f--k.Is this what your ancestor thaught you!You were another scam and liar YM Chong.Hope you and your fanily can sleep in peace everyday while all of us are suffering.

    ReplyDelete
  38. YM Chong,

Do not for one minute think that just by praying at the Lord Muruga temple and by donating to charity you can wash away your sins. Your karma is going to follow you. The sin for making 6764 people and their families suffer will not be so easily washed away. Beware!! KS Lee has go into hiding, Krishnan falls sick. All this is just the beginning. More evil is coming to you guys unless you do the right thing pronto.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Called Bestino just now and it's the same old story. The directors are waiting for a call from the buyers, which means no agreement has been signed.

Managed to get 2 directors phone numbers:
    Henry Goon 016-5218018
    Krishnan: 012-5880999

Probably we can get some facts from these two gentlemen, so to everyone out there, do give them a call and post their responses on this blog.

When asked to speak to YM, the receptionist said he is not around and she does not know his whereabouts.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Contacted Bestino today and it's the same old story, the directors are waiting for call from buyers. That means no agreement has been signed.

Managed to get 2 directors h/phone numbers:

    Henry: 016-5218018
    Krishnan: 012-5880999

So to everyone out there, do give them a call and find out and then post on this blog the replies they give.

  41. From the looks of things sad to note that we are still in the dark.Forget the invitation for the signing - even the contents of the S&P is yet to be finalised till now.
Hence can you immagine what the hell has been going on all this while -telling us never ending bull shit stories all along. Thier so call gold mine is yet to have produce any potential that is worthy of excitment and all our past payments were from elsewhere which had to be stopped 'cos of the BNM&SC's raid. If it was not Lecruz then it's anyone's guess!
Keep praying hard my fellow buddies since the end is still very far away.

    ReplyDelete
  42. It's a never ending cock & bull stories.Till now both parties are yet to sort the S&P details hence the invitation from the buyer is along way off my friends.
All this while whatever that was paid to us was not from their PNG gold mine but from other sources and 'cos of the BNM & SC's raid it had to be stopped. You will not be wrong if this waiting game takes it's sweet time.

    ReplyDelete
  43. sweet is the night

    ReplyDelete
  44. No doubt all this while we were taken on a ride by Bestino. They were lying and cheating us with all kinds of cock n bull stories. I don’t think we will ever get back our money. For those who were praising Chong here is the truth. He is a big time crook.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Many people that I know have actually dumped all their hard earn money including savings, retirement fund, children’s education money and property into Bestino thinking that the returns will give them some financial help. But sad to say everyone got Fcuked right left and center. Many of them are now left wondering what’s going too happened for the future. Some old folks have even started taking up odd jobs just to sustain and pay their liabilities.
Is greed the main factor in this or was it the trust that everyone had in Bestino including trust from the agents that recommended this scheme? Some agents were dam sure that nothing can shake Bestino and investing our money there is even safer than keeping it in the bank.
No doubt, the returns from Bestino were good for some. They manage to use the money for children’s education or to pay their assets. But many have actually re invested their earnings either in Bestino or Lecruz and this is the group that got hit really badly.
Many people have contacted YM Chong or either Krishnan lately and were promised that the payment will be made soon. With that promises many rebuild their hope and confidence that they will get back their money but somehow now it seems that all those promises were fake. The trust that everyone had in Bestino or YM Chong is degrading fast. How long more do we need to wait? How long more do we need to suffer? How long more do we need to have sleepless nights?
Many agents of Bestino have become fugitive. They are running away from people. They themselves have more questions than answers. Some suggested that if YM Chong was really genuine he would have paid us back around 15~20% of the investment by now taking into consideration the 3% returns which we were receiving every month.
It’s going to be a year very soon. A year of bullshit, hope and more bullshit. How long more will this go on??

    ReplyDelete

    Brother thank you.
You have spoken well on the behalf of many which warrants a honest responce from Bestino Group if there's any moral left.
Failing which we can savely conclude that everyone got Fucked right left and center and no way are we going to see our hard earned money again.

  54. Chong should be a man of honor and explain the real situation to all investors. We need to be updated on a weekly or monthly basic. Currently everyone is pissed off with Chong and his gang. If they are really genuine to help people they should come out and explain.

Please at least tell us what or till when are we need to wait? Pls don't let us pull and curse all your family members. We do not want to do that either

  61. actually in our mind already know the ending and answer...sometime i think why so stupid to let people manage our money...better invest in share market at least lost also know the reason and also not going to lost all my hard earn money.........sigh

    ReplyDelete
  62. I don't anybody in Bestino, but have spoken to them few times through phone with Chong, Krishnan and Henry. I felt they are trying their best to refund our money.

Time is an ascent but nobody can control the future including ourself. Thus it is no fair to put all the blame on others who are just ordinary man like us. Instead of keep blaming, isn't better we hope and trust they will be successfully close the deal. Pray to god harder, it is time for us to be humble and borrow super power to relief ourselves.

Often I am frustrated with all sorts of reasons given by Bestino. I questioned myself for being greed to invest at 1st place, so this is a lesson to learn as world is round, no risk no gain.

Life journey is not always easy, I hope all of you will always be optimistic ! Think about this, is there anything we can do ? If answer is no, then what is the best way to keep ourself at ease ??

    ReplyDelete
  63. Tangy, there are things that we can do. You may be able to patiently wait and be even willing to kiss your money goodbye. I cannot afford to do that and will not do that. I am just waiting for the right moment to act.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Things would have been much better if only Bestino had been transparent from the very begining. What we needed was the truth but instead got bull shit stories each and everytime we called them.
Even now I am still doubtful if we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel as there is every possibility that Krishen will be back soon only to say that the terms of the S&P were not to our favour. This has been going on for the past 9 months since the 1st buyer and with their GM Lee gone missing.Do you mean to say this time the situation is different?
At the same time bear in mind BNM is waiting to lay their hands on our capital's return since they want to monitor the distribution.

    ReplyDelete
  65. To all fellow investors out here and there in this vast internet,

Bestino is bidding time, while we lay here and rot.

Latest is the gang is there to sign a deal..when., and if it's real, only time will tell...and how we are going to benefit from all this crap is another matter altogether.

What happenned to the action committee that was supposed to start rolling after May 15?

Why don't we all admit for the fact that we can't do nothing about the quandry we have put ourselves into. We should put that to a poll here.

Do you really think that anybody in this country is going to help us.

  76. Any updates? Howcome there is no news regarding the signing of the S&P?

    ReplyDelete
  77. How to sing when both parties are still discussing the terms.
If prepared for further delay as things do not look encouraging otherwise there would have been news from Krishen by now! Their office maintain that our savour will only be back home next week & to get in touch with them after 7th.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Is Krishnan really in Hong Kong? Will they send a Indian to negotiate with a Chinaman? He is probably just hiding at home.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Dream on guys...there is no such thing signing agreement whatsoever. That's bull shit!Lets stop day dreaming and take appropriate action against them.Krishnan is Chong's lap dog, that much i knew.Majority of investors here are indians so they got someone stupid like krishnan to deal with the indians.Exactly the same like how mahathir had samy velu.

    ReplyDelete
  80. I totally agree! Just like how Samy Velu suppressed the indians. Keep them poor, easier to control. Now Krishnan has conned the indians for his Bestino masters.

Krishnan, shame on you. Learned this trick from MIC, did you?

    ReplyDelete
  86. Good start writing to Malaysiakini. Well done! Now let's put other actions into motion.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Good letter in Malaysiakini. I have posted a link to it on the right side of this blog to make access easier.

Can someone also post a similar letter in the Tamil newspapers? We need the 'aunties' in the estates to stop believing in Bestino's lies.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Read the Malaysiakini letter. This Ong guy is probably from Bank Negara, SC, some political party or from Bestino itself.

The idiot had the cheek to say, I don't agree that Bank Negara should waste it's resources trying to recover such losses. Bank Negara & all regulatory and enforcement should use their limited resources to help genuine victims.

    1) I called SC before investing. All SC told me was that Bestino is a legal company. Beyond that, they did not say anything further. With millions being transferred and millions being taken out of the country, it took 3 years for SC and BN to find out? I believe that SC and BN have failed in their duty to protect us. Either they are staffed with very inept people or they knew what was going on but chose to close an eye.

    2) So who are the "genuine" victims? BN paid back the Swisscash victims. How were they more 'genuine' then us? Perhaps because they were of the 'right' colour'? Perhaps we, the third class citizens, do not deserve the same protection from our regulatory bodies? It was politically expedient to pay the Swisscash investors. But us, we are not important enough.

    3) We pay taxes don't we? Taxation is a contract between the government and the citizens whereby the government is paid to protect and help its citizens. We expect protection from the government, be it from the police or regulatory bodies. The taxes are not for politicians to get fat.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Yes i read the comment in mkini too.I think this matter is among the investors,BN,SC,The goverment and of course the bogus bestino.I think those who are not related stay away from any comment or discussion.I suggest you go and advice the goverment how not to make this country go bankrupt in 9 years.May be your idea and suggestion will be much needed there.Stop involving youself here as its merely waste of your damn time.GO GET LOST!!

    ReplyDelete
  90. TO ALL INVESTORS, I AM ALSO ONE OF BESTINO'S INVESTORS. LET ME TELL YOU TO BE PATIENT THOUGH ITS HARD TO DO AT THIS TIME WHEN OUR MONEY IS RUNNING OUT. BUT BY REPORTING TO THE POLICE IS LIKE SEALING YOUR OWN DEATH! IMAGINE BANK NEGARA IS DOING THE INVESTIGATION NOW AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE THEM TO FINISH THE INVESTIGATION..ONLY GOD KNOWS...BUT IF YOU INVOLVE THE POLICE CHANCES ARE YOU WILL SEE YOUR MONEY LONGER...COS THE POLICE WOULD WANT TO OPEN UP ANOTHER CASE..SO DO YOU ALL GET IT. WHAT WE SHOULD DO IS BE PATIENT AND WAIT, I BELIEVE BESTINO IS DOING THE BEST THEY CAN.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Let's wait for Krishen return sometime next week to hear his story. From the look of things our settlement will not be so soon as there are lots of other hurdels yet to be sorted.
However be positive and have faith that everything will be in order once BNM give their clearance to unfreeze Bestino's PBB account & to go ahead with the payouts without the regulatory's further interception/involvement.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Dear Anonymous June 3, 2010 10:52 PM,

I do want to believe that Bestino is honest and has every intention of paying us back. I do not want the hassle of making a police report and instituting legal action.

Unfortunately however, Bestino has lost its credibility due to its actions in the last one year. Many of us just do not believe that they are in negotiations to sell their goldmine. If they can let us in and show us that they are sincere, then we will be willing to patiently wait.

I for one am at the end of my patience and just do not believe them anymore. All I see is delay tactics that will continue for another 10 years.

If you really are an investor and really believe in them, do try and get some proof from them. Then and only then will the rest of us be willing to believe you and them.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I remember one of the tagline my agent uses before closing sales is "Bestino is a reputable ccompany, the boss is Batu pahat jewelery shop owner. They are prideful people etc".I think about that now and i cant stop laughing!Mention Bestino i smell shit!!Yes i see bestino like shit! And the boss YM chong,i see him an evil. Now i know how batu pahat become rich.Bestino??!!..yuck!!!What a fcuking name!!!

    ReplyDelete
  94. The first action we need to take is to boycott Batu Pahat Goldsmith and Bestino Goldsmith. Tell all the aunties not to buy from Batu Pahat Goldsmith anymore!

    ReplyDelete
  95. Anonymous June 3, 2010 10:52 PM and June 4, 2010 6:56 AM are definitely either from Bestino or are associated with Bestino management in some way. What they are trying to tactfully tell us is that Krishnan is going to come back from Hong Kong with another bull-shit story. They are preparing us for it.

Bestino, save your breath. We do not believe you anymore and we will be taking the appropriate action.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Getting together all Bestino investors is not an easy task. I reckon hardly 10 percent of all investors have access or understanding of the internet, maybe even knowledge of this blog.

If some agent could get a master list of all investors names and addresses, contact them, then this mass gathering/signature campaign/whatever could come into a reality. As it is I feel there are hardly 10 investors here posting their honest comments.

Lets just pray hard to God to help us overcome the miseries that some greedy people have put us into.

    ReplyDelete
  97. You are right I am associated with Bestino but NOT as claimed by your goodself. As an INVESTOR I have invested my whole life's savings togther with with many of my other family members with the hope to live a slightly more comfortable life & to cater for my liabilities which was in order till the BNM's raid.
Besides having positive thoughts & hopes, can you tell the whole lot of us what choice do you have under these uncomfortable and unclear circumstances when Bestino has caught our balls tight. You can cry or do what ever you think is right, the settlement will only take place only & if the BIG MAN upthere decides. No amount of reports or pressure is going to make any difference'cos our money left M'sia via Bestion via black mode. How is YM Chong going to bring it back as white depends on how this S&P is executed.
We have no choice my beloved friends but to keep praying that everything works out as hoped by Bestino and in this respect Krishen is burning the midnight oil to ensure not only our money but also his is returned soonest possible.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Rumours are that Krishen himself has invested a few hundred thousands.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Interesting. ...our money left M'sia via Bestino via black mode.

So Bestino used our money illegally. They took it out of the country illegally. So they are a scam!!

    ReplyDelete
  100. And we can't do no fuck about it.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Don't forget that Bestino still has a lot of assets in Malaysia - goldsmith shops and a natural oil processing plant. These assets can be seized to pay us back. We just need good legal advice on how to go about doing it. We if are really determined to, we can do it.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Exactly. Bestino has got lots of assets in this country itself, like Bestino Oil and others, in India and China, etc. too. Do check out their website
    www.bestino.com/v2/
and see how many other companies they own. Somebody has to go to the ROC and enquire to the actual status of each individual company that they have a share in. It will only cost us 10 ringgit to make a search for one company. So hope somebody out there gets the ball rolling. PNG is just another diversion.

  106. Date 7th June 2010

    Dear Investors,

As agreed earlier we would like to update you on matters pertaining to Bestino.

The Chinese investor who was supposed to purchase the rights to the mines has selected only the best mines, that is, those with high prospective yields and has rejected the remaining mines.

The decision has resulted in a drastic reduction in the sale price. As a consequence of this decision we have not been able to conclude the deal.

We are currently in the process of renegotiating with the hope of getting a higher price, such that we can return your entire capital.

Kindly bear with us while the negotiations continues. We will keep you updated on the progress and we hope to return your funds as early as possible, especially if 2012 is gonna be sooner or later.

    Yours insincerely,
Flying Teapots from the planet Gong

    ReplyDelete
  110. Anyway who paid for the tickets for these dudes who went there to negotiate an imaginary gold mine. Aren't their assets suppossed to be frozen?
What is actually going on. BN and SC are of no help either.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Dear Mr Chong,

Some points in your letter dated 7th June are unclear and I seek clarification.

    1) You mentioned 'Chinese investor'. However, in Feb this year, we were led to believe that the deal with the Chinese did not materialize and that you were pursuing a second deal with the Taiwanese. So what is it now? Chinese or Taiwanese? Or neither?

    2) In your 3rd Feb letter, you mentioned an 'alternate plan to reactivate the mines in PNG'. What is the status of this alternate plan? There is no update on the status in your 7 June letter.

    3) No time-frame has been provided in your letter. Are we expected to wait indefinitely?

    ReplyDelete
  112. didnt any new story....alway same story..waiting for new buyer...chong , u think we r idiot!

    ReplyDelete
  113. Chong, What the FCUK is all this? Last time you promised that the mines will be reactivated to return us back our capital…but what happened to that? Also how were you able to pay us 3% every month? Where the fcuk did that money come from? How come now you are not paying us the 3%? You are a Fcuking basterd. Your days are numbered and you will get a fcuking bullet in your head.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Bestino and Lecruz was created to screw us left right and center. Its okey if we dont get back anything. We still have our hands and legs to work and earn a living. But those who are gulty will suffer.

    ReplyDelete
  115. All, please note that this blog does not support the use of violence of any illegal methods in getting our money back. Appreciate your cooperation in not posting any comments that call for the use of violence.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Mr Chong,

I believe that the investor is making prudent business sense in selecting "only the best mines, that is, those with high prospective yields and has rejected the remaining mines."

You cannot expect to fob off your dud mines onto the buyer. I think you should sell what you can and make up the rest of what you owe us by selling your gold-bars.

You owe it to us to conclude this deal asap.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Okay , today the investors of sea weed , they have get together and going to tale legal action, in star news paper. We should stop believing this people.

    ReplyDelete
  118. All friend,i think chong must create one seminar for explain all the situation now.And anwers our question too...

    ReplyDelete
  119. Ha Ha Ha! Chong thinks the Chinese are stupid enough to buy his dust-mine!

Chong, do not try and con anymore people. Sell what is real and return our money to us.

    ReplyDelete
  120. True it's about time YM Chong realise that enough is enough and that there is not point delaying the sale of his dust mines any longer.
Just sell what's marketable and make good the balance from your Swiss bank.
Please do not expect us to sit tight any more and listen to your crabs. We have had enough. Also do not try to tie us with your Leruz investment loss as we too have lost heavily on our own.
If Bestino think the present buyer can be conned -sorry you are very mistaken since the chinese are like the jews who think very deeply of the potential returns before venturing into any business.

    ReplyDelete
  121. This is full of crap. Bestino has ben cheating everyone till now. Pure SCAM...nothing else.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Chong, do not try and con anymore people. Sell what is real and return our money to us.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Chinese are like the Jews who think very deeply of the potential returns of opium for the masses.

    ReplyDelete
  124. The truth is they have entered into a delusionary world of bluffs, where nothing exists and still exists.

We gotta take one step forward out of here, and just imagine this imaginary sum of money did not actually belong to us. It belonged to our space fathers.

    ReplyDelete
  125. If there is a buyer, sell the mine. Don't try and con the buyer like you conned us.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Chong, when you owe people money, you have to pay back. That is proper business. Your father never teach you ah? Or maybe your father teach you how to cheat others.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  128. YM Chong, Krishen and the whole lot of Bestino's donkeys were damm sure that this time the sale of their dust mines was on target & that only the payment schedule was to yet to be confirmed.
But alas what are we told now that the whole f--king deal is yet to materialise. Come on you mother f--kers haven't you had enough of your bullshitting.
Remember history repeats and hope your future generations do not have to pay for your folly.Just grab the sale and be done with. Please do not expect your horse or dog to bear horns. We have had enough of your stupid craps. We want our money back NOW.

    ReplyDelete
  129. You want your money back? Maybe you should go for his Jaguar and his S-Class Mercedes for a start.

  130. Are there any gold mines in the first place? Are there any factories in India, China or PNG in the second? Are there still any gold bars in the third? Who are these advisors in YM's round table?

    Have we asked these questions?

    ReplyDelete
  131. YM's advisors are a bunch of semi-goats,

They deserve to be where they actually should have been born in the first place, the slaughterhouse.

Then they wouldn't have the time or space to slaughter us in the first place. And it looks like a perpetuaty., for us and them. do give a thought to pink floyd. probably the late syd barret has got the answers.

  134. 5. What should you do if you're a victim of these schemes?

Members of the public are advised to be careful and not to fall prey to the above mentioned schemes. If members of the public have fallen victim to any of these illegal schemes, Bank Negara Malaysia advises them to do the following:
Firstly, they are advised to lodge a police report.
Then, to report to the relevant enforcement agency.
Members of the public must keep all the related documentations of all their investments such as bank-in slips, deposit slips, agreements, vouchers that they received from the company or perpetrator so that they can use the documents to take action against the company.
This includes the details of the officers or key persons in the company. This information could prove useful for enforcement purposes.

  135. Last October, KS Lee told me "don't worry, Bestino will pay back before Deepavali". Then is Jan he said, "This time for sure. I guarantee Bestino will pay back in Feb".

Now KS Lee has disappeared. Where the heck is he? Bestino tells me he is in Hong Kong. So what is he doing there? My guess - trying to pull the same scheme in China that they pulled here. This time conning the Chinese.

  154. Yes, I support the call to contact MCA. Naveen, if you could make the arrangements, we will attend together with you.

  155. Understand that Krishen is back and a meeting with some investors took place over the last 2 days, would be much grateful if the gist of that could be shared with the rest of us.
Do not have much hopes but all the same pray that YM Chong is prepared to proceed with the partial sale as wanted by the buyer. You have to start from somewhere.

  159. ACTUALLY BESTINO IS HEADED BY A DAY DREAMER YM CHONG. A LAWYER WHO WAS CLOSE TO HIM AND A BUNCH OF SO CALLED EXECUTIVE AND NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS ARE WORST THAN HIM. THE ORGANIZATION IS LIKE SHIT AND THESE PEOPLE ARE CON-PEOPLE.

    ReplyDelete
  160. These useless assholes directors never made any profit. They just used the investor's money to enjoy their life. I warn the directors that you all will not sleep in peace.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Look the Bestino website. They only made a profit of RM 1 million out of RM400 million. What happen to the RM400 million? What happen to the gold returned back to them after the release of preference share? There is a lawyer, a company secretary and a finance expert or academician from Ipoh who knew the problem but kept quiet as they were earning big salary. They are professional by education but worst than a criminal. They took our money as salary without making any damn profit and left the organization just like a good people. You find out who are these people.

    ReplyDelete
  162. YOU WANT TO MAKE A POLICE REPORT? MAKE A POLICE REPORT PERSONALLY ON EACH ONE OF THE EXECUTIVE AND NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS AND THE LAWYER INVOLVED. I SUGGEST EACH ONE OF US MAKE ONE POLICE REPORT AND LET THEM RUN CRAZY AND LEARN A LESSON. THEY ARE WORST THAN THE MAIKA SCANDAL. IDENTIFY ALL THE DIRECTORS

    ReplyDelete
  163. I agree. Let's make a police report on each of the director name and not on Bestino. Let's see if their lawyer who earned big salary can help them out. Who are the executive and non-executive directors? Anyone can help me on this?

    ReplyDelete
  164. Be careful. Rumours are that they may runaway from the country. Identify all the directors, their lawyer and company secretary.

    ReplyDelete
  165. Go and visit their oil factory. They have nothing there. It was just a showcase to cheat the investors. They never make any profit. Even Batu Pahat GS is not associating themselves with this bunch of idiots even though they are related. Now seriously let's identify the executive and non-executive directors.

    ReplyDelete
  166. LIST DOWN THE DIRECTORS NAME AND ADDRESS. WE GO AND SEE THEM

    ReplyDelete
  167. YM CHONG NEVER A FCKING BUSINESS MAN. HE ACT AND LIVE AS ONE. HE NEVER SEEN PROFIT IN HIS LIFE. HE ONLY KNOW HOW TO COLLECT MONEY. I AGREE WITH THE COMMENTS THAT THE EXECUTIVE AND NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS WITH HIM ARE WORST THAN CHONG. THEY HAVE VERY BAD REPUTATION. FIND OUT WHO THESE PEOPLE ARE. RELEASE THEIR NAMES

    ReplyDelete
  168. i was told the people around him especially the directors are the master mind. they take big salary and ensured the people are conned. look at each of the executive and non-executive directors. they are multi millionaire now. one guy is a professor i heard. let me find out more about this crooks.

    ReplyDelete
  169. What type of people are they? Don't they have family and children? How do they expect their children to be good and healthy in the future by eating public money? if you run good business, then we can take a business risk. but found out this guys the directors are not really doing a good job. remember guys, money can be earned but if you lose your credibility, you lose it forever. recognize all the directors.

    ReplyDelete
  170. DON'T WORRY GUYS. ALL OF US HAVE JUST LOST OUR MONEY. BUT BE HAPPY THAT WE ARE NOT ONE OF THEM WHO EAT PEOPLE'S MONEY FOR SHORT TERM PROFIT AND LOSING CREDIBILITY. THEY HAVE NOT REALIZED THE REAL PAIN YET. I CAN'T EVEN CATEGORIZE THIS AS INVESTMENT RISK AND THEY NEVER DID ANY GOOD INVESTMENT BUT TO EAT ALL THE MONEY.

    ReplyDelete
  171. FINAL ADVICE TO ALL EXEC AND NON-EXEC DIRECTORS. WE GIVE YOU TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY

    ReplyDelete
  172. Looks like Krishen will be back in HK by this month end to beg the buyers reg the sale of their DUST mines.
It's anybodies guess what's going to be the outcome but understand YM is desperate to get it off his shoulders. All along it was a SCAM and Bestino's top guns were living in fantasy till Lecruz got F__KED & only then did they wake up.

  174. the company was a licensed company and Bank Negara was completely in the know as documents show. Gold was sold at a discount, nothing more nothing less! The company was not bankrupt and Bank Negara froze its accounts based on a premise. Let the investigations reveal the truth and if any Director has committed an offence charge him in court. If the company needs to be closed down as ordered by the court, so be it. The investors are eligible to be paid back whatever is forthcoming from the assets and that is what the investors are asking.

    ReplyDelete
  175. Well said but the big question that's on every investor's mind - what's the out come of BNM's findings after 1 year? Are we expected to just sit tight & wait till the cows come home !
It's quite normal in M'sia to see files left in the cold for years without any action just as the goverment is always flipflopping with it's policies.Understand Bestino submitted their applications for this trading atotal of 6 times but never got to see BNM/SC's reply even till the raid.So do you expect any decision coming our way now?
We have been screwed and are now at the mercy of some ineffecient/incompetent regularity body.

    ReplyDelete
  176. I support the call for Bank Negara to wrap up its investigation and reveal the outcome of its findings.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Question to ask is whether Bank Negara is concerned about the plight of the investors. Will Bank Negara return the money to the investors? Or is Bank Negara only concerned about seizing Bestino's assets and so making more money for its political masters?

    ReplyDelete
  178. Its not about BNM. They wont do anything. Bestino has to return back the money to all investors. We should go after Bestino and Chong. This Basterds should return back our money without any delay.

    ReplyDelete
  179. Yes. Guys, we have to stay focused on getting Bestino to wrap up sales of their goldmine leases asap and return our money in full.

Bestino is probably already moving its assets out of Malaysia. If BNM seizes all Bestino's assets, we will be lucky if we get 1% back.

So keep bugging them. They need to sell their goldmine asap.

    ReplyDelete

  185. Guys,

Our objective is to get our money back from BESTINO. Let's stay focused on this and refrain from attacking BNM or other regulatory body. It is pointless and it will not get us our money back.

Bestino has to sell its goldmines and return us our money. Don't let them sidetrack us.

    ReplyDelete
  186. My written english is not so good. Otherwise, would have write to Najib and all the influencial politician in the facebook and their blog to bring the matter to their attention and ask for help. Hopefully they can work with BNM and use their influence to expedite fund redeem and investigation process.
Hopefully somebody can write to all the parties, send by mail or post and attach all the evidence.

  187. another month already, still no good news from them...i heard the director didnt go back to office anymore and only stay at home...that because he no other way to go...all goldmine become shitmine and this stupid fellow also dont know how to run business ..our money all gone so he also dont know how to pay us back...

  188. Great suggestion from Anonymous June 22, 2010 10:16 AM. But the time is not right yet. Let's give YM Chong some time to keep his word. I think he is sincere. After all, he has the Chong family reputation to uphold. Also the Batu Pahat name to maintain in order to respect to his ancestors. He can burn as many incense sticks he likes, but his father will not be at peace if YM Chong goes to jail. I am sure YM Chong knows this.

  189. Most of these people will still be happily enjoying their ill gotten wealth unless you guys go really really hard on them, they delay and delay to buy time so that most of the investors will give up. these techniques have been used by most of those scammers.Don't give them any chance. F* them until kau kau. Those who ask you to cool down or giving them some time are either stupid or making profit out of your investment. don't wait for the authority to take action,it will be the same thing like Swiss Cash,Mobile Wallet,Lecruz etc. My advice- What you can do is report to all the authorities listed and additional to that write about them in blogs, forums, articles submission sites...tell the truth of what is going on. Make as many blogs as possible.Just go to the Setting and export the xml file and let everyone create their own blog by importing the xml file. Remember, if just one blog those top guy can hire any hacker to hack your blog. this is what happened to LecruzActionTeam.blogspot.com today luckily I managed to solve the problem for them.

  190. JB,

Thanks for the heads-up. I have made a back-up of this blog and will back-up every few days.

I read your posting on LecruzActionTeam.blogspot.com. Interesting that some of the Lecruz investors who invested a lot have already been paid. I wonder if this is the case with Bestino.

  196. Hi Beastie,
JB here again, just to clarify further on my previous comment,ie.I mentioned create more blogs, but I also mean that you must always maintain this as your main blog and all the rest of the other blog must link to this blog so that this blog will always be visible to google search engine; only one main blog if not people will confuse which blog to comment.
Another thing is better to set the comment moderation to "Always" if not you will be vulnerable to spammer and hackers.
